Your app lives in two places: the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad, and Google Play for Android. But a single QR code holds one destination. Point it at the App Store and Android users hit a dead end; point it at Google Play and iPhone users are stranded — and a static code printed on a poster or box cannot be changed after it ships.
The fix is to stop encoding a store URL directly, and instead route each scanner to the store that matches their device.
Option A: A Dynamic Redirect That Routes by Device
The cleanest solution is one dynamic QR code whose destination you control. Instead of encoding a store link, the code points to a redirect you own, and you configure that destination's logic to detect the visitor's operating system and forward them to the right store: iOS to the App Store, Android to Google Play, and everyone else (desktop, say) to a landing page.

Option B: Store-Specific Codes

Generate one QR code for the App Store URL and another for Google Play, and label each clearly ("Download on iPhone" / "Get it on Android"). The trade-off: two codes take more space, and static store links cannot be edited once printed — so make each a dynamic code if the URLs might change.
