What QR2GO does and does not include today

To set honest expectations, here is what is currently part of the product and what is not.

Custom domain / own short-link domain

Not currently supported. All QR2GO short links run through QR2GO-controlled URLs (qr2go.eu/scan/...). Connecting your own domain or subdomain is not part of the product today.

Deeplinks (iOS Universal Links, Android App Links)

You can use any URL as a destination, including app URI schemes. QR2GO does not currently provide a dedicated deeplink feature with iOS Universal Links, Android App Links, app-installed detection or platform-specific fallbacks.

Country-based targeting (geo-routing)

QR2GO captures country, region and city for analytics where available. Routing scans from different countries to different destination URLs is not currently supported — every scan reaches the same destination.

Google Analytics / GA4 integration

QR2GO's own scan analytics are powered by Matomo — our official, EU-hosted, privacy-first analytics foundation. Google Analytics is never QR2GO's own analytics: GA4 is an optional, paid, customer-owned add-on for active Premium subscribers who forward their own QR scan traffic into their own GA4 property (using their own Measurement ID), and you remain responsible for your own consent and legal basis.
