Free accounts include up to 20 QR code slots with PNG export, logo embedding, basic customization, and basic analytics (30-day retention). Premium accounts include up to 200 QR code slots, PNG/SVG/PDF exports, advanced analytics (365-day retention), and priority support for €5.99/month.
We use Matomo analytics to track QR code scans while respecting user privacy. You can see scan counts, locations, devices, and timing data.
Yes, we're fully GDPR compliant. Data is stored in EU servers, you can export or delete your data anytime, and we don't share data with third parties.

Yes. Custom Domains are a paid add-on for Premium subscribers, at 10 € per domain slot per month. Each slot lets you verify one of your own subdomains (e.g. qr.your-brand.com) and assign it to as many of your QR codes as you like — one QR code uses one selected domain. Important: assigning or changing a domain only affects QR images you download afterwards; already-printed QR codes keep working through the default qr2go.eu host and are never broken. DNS and SSL verification can take a few minutes to propagate before a domain becomes active.
You can enter any URL as a destination, including app URI schemes (e.g. myapp://...). However, QR2GO does not currently provide a dedicated deeplink feature with iOS Universal Links, Android App Links, app-installed detection or platform-specific fallbacks. If a customer scans a QR pointing to a custom URI scheme, behaviour depends on the device and the installed app — QR2GO does not add additional routing logic.
Geographic data such as country, region and city is captured for analytics where available. However, country-based routing — sending scans from different countries to different destination URLs — is not currently supported. Every scan reaches the same destination URL configured for that QR code. Please distinguish between geo analytics (available) and geo targeting (not available).
QR2GO uses its own privacy-friendly QR scan analytics backed by Matomo. A native Google Analytics or GA4 integration is not currently available. You see scan counts, time-based trends, country/region/city, device, browser, OS, referrer and UTM parameters directly inside the QR2GO dashboard.
Open your vCard QR in the editor and expand 'Add more details'. The Custom Fields section lets you add up to 5 label/value pairs — common business identifiers such as SDI Code, VAT, Tax ID, or Employee ID work well. If your QR is dynamic, updating a custom field does not require reprinting the code. The data is included in the generated .vcf file: contact apps that support custom vCard fields may display or preserve them on import, while others may hide or ignore unknown X-* fields entirely. QR2GO cannot guarantee identical display behavior across every contact app. Italian users invoicing through SDI: use the dedicated SDI Code field for the 7-character Codice Destinatario and a Custom Field for the company P.IVA.
