1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using QR2GO ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
QR2GO provides QR code generation and analytics services including:
- QR code generation in multiple formats (PNG, SVG, PDF)
- QR code customization and branding
- Privacy-first analytics powered by Matomo
- GDPR-compliant data processing within the EU
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Ensuring all information provided is accurate and up-to-date
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
4. Usage Limits and Fair Use
Free Tier Limits:
- 20 QR codes per month
- PNG format exports only
- Basic analytics features
- Community support
Premium Tier Limits:
- 200 QR codes per month
- All format exports (PNG, SVG, PDF)
- Full analytics suite
- Priority support
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service. Prohibited uses include but are not limited to:
- Creating QR codes linking to malicious, illegal, or harmful content
- Attempting to circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Using the Service to spam or harass individuals
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
6. Data Protection and Privacy
QR2GO is committed to protecting your privacy and operates in full compliance with GDPR. All data processing occurs within the European Union. For detailed information about how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
7. Payment Terms
⚠️ Payment Status
Important: QR2GO is currently in formation. Until company registration is complete and a business bank account is activated, no payments can be processed through the website. The platform operates in test/pre-launch mode. All subscription features mentioned below will be available once payment processing is activated.
Premium subscriptions will be billed monthly at €5.99 per month once payment processing is activated. Payment terms will include:
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- Cancellation available at any time
- All prices include applicable VAT
- Payments processed securely via Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)
8. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
14-Day Cancellation Right for EU Consumers
As an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws (German BGB §355).
How to cancel: Send an email to legal@qr2go.eu within 14 days of your subscription start date. Include your account email and subscription details.
Note: If you explicitly request immediate access to premium features and begin using the service, you acknowledge that this may affect your right of withdrawal as per EU distance selling regulations.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability for our services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform maintenance as needed. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
